Alright, I should have just paid the $90 to have Browns Welding and MFG. install the bumpers. My 02' front bumper was a cake walk but my 09' bolts can't be removed without unbolting the one of the coolers. I skipped unbolting the cooler and just cut the bolts in half. I replaced the bolts with old bolts from my 02' and all was well. I thought for sure do the back bumper would be a cake walk compared to the front.
Well no that wasn't the case of course. My bumper used the factory tow frame and it was not a simple bolt up. There is a round high spot in the center of the tow frame that sticks up too high as well as two small spots just below the tailgate where little bolt like objects protrude too far.
The two small objects were laid to waste by the grinder pretty quickly but the round area above the hitch takes some pretty good grinding to get it low enough to allow the bumper to sit flush so the bolt holes will line up. Hopefully this info will be helpful to anyone else pondering an aftermarket bumper install.
