Does anyone know of any aftermarket bumpers made for our pickups? I got into a wreck and i don't want to ever have this much damage again:( I'll try and get some pics on here for everyone to see. I would just like to have a really heavy duty bumper. Thanks everyone. Oh yeah and i just had some money saved up to get some injectors and some guages and a turbo housing and now i'm gonna have to spend $500 of that on my deductible until they decide if it was my fault or not.

I'll second that plea for a good cow catcher. No accident yet (knock on wood), but I'd rather spend the money for a good front end rather than on rebuilding it.

There are plenty of better aftermarket front Bumpers out there to choose from. A quick search in the P&A forum with a keyword "bumper", will give you a lot of feedback to make an informed decision on. I just went through this exercise myself :-laf :-laf

From all my checking. No one is suporting our trucks now. The only hope is to find a used factory built one. Or have someone local build one for you. Look in the readers rig section. Bushwkr has a home built that him and some friends built. Very good design.

Or you might think about a vocational welding course. They are 6 to 10 weeks long one night a week. You could learn a new skill and make the truck look better. :D

The instructor would know where to get some heavy steel bent for the main frame work.

You may want to check with Layne at Denver Offroad.

When I visited his shop last year he was making one of his Aluminum bumpers for an 92 1st gen Crew cab. Looked awesome but he was using that truck as a template to build. He may have the specs to build you guys one.

It won't hurt to ask... ... I would call him at his shop @ (970)858-8400.

Thanks allot for all the replies. I talked to my friends in Oregon and there gonna make me one. Does anyone know the dimensions of the Warn 15,000 lb winch or where i could get them at? I can't wait for my new bumper, hopefully no more twisted bumpers. Mine caved in pretty easy.
