OK I'm stumped:confused:

I searched pages and pages here trying to answer my own question but haven't found the right answer.

I am trying to install lights and can't get them to work. I want them to be on their own switch and not spliced into either the hi or low headlight wires. I have a fused (constant hot) wire going to #30 on a relay, #85 grounded, #86 coming for the switch and #87 going to the lights. The switch is a lighted one.

Seem right... or what's wrong? 4 blown fuses:mad:

Thanks

I would check the wiring on the switch to make sure that it has the correct wire going to ground.

I typically use 86 for ground and 85 for trigger. it shouldn't make a difference but it may be worth a try.

Check your fuse, check your relay (could bebad) grab the 'ol voltmeter and check power at the switch, lights, and the relays.
