Hello all,i am interested in a set of some better looking rims for my 2001. 5 4x4 rear discs-no lift yet,i have BFG's AT 285/75r16 on the stock rims now. Please be patient cause i have never bought any before  . I have done some reading on the TDR and kind of have an idea but i want to know from the members what works. I want a set of 16x8,chrome,do they have to be hub-centic or does it matter. I am looking at a set of american racing wheels----MOTTO MT700 with 4. 5"of backspacing. Will these fit. I talked to a guy from a wheel place and he said most of the makers do not have anything available for my model in a stock 16x8 rim, they all will hit the calipers. Another guy said that EAGAL 145's will work, but i think they must ride on the lugs because there is a center cap,I would prefer a one piece rim,any suggestion, pictures or ideas,THANKS DW :) :) :)

Weld Wheels

 E-Mail Weld Wheels, they've got two applications with stock backspacing for my 99 w/rear drums. They were real prompt. The other manufacturers didn't seem to know what I was talking about or didn't care. Expensive(about $180. 00+) but well built. They also have specials periodically. :-laf

you will not find any wheels in 16x8 that are the correct offset... I spent countless hours looking for wheels for my truck that would keep the 6. 25" offset of the 2001. 5 wheels, if you don't mind the tires sticking out of the fenders just a little then you will find wheels no problem... but nothing is out there that keeps the stock location, unless you want to go with 18" and up wheels... the closest to stock that I found that will keep the same offset is H2 wheels, but there 17"s
