aftermarket seats

Can anyone suggest a company/seat for aftermarket seats for my '93? Found one company on the internet called Salesco. Have a bench, want to go to bucket type for more comfort.

Went with the Flexsteel seat and really like them. Buckets with center consel.

This brings me back to my earlier question, can one put late model(94 on) quad cab seats in. I'd like the front buckets and rear bench in my 93 club cab... .

I'm still trying to find the new company that made mine. E&M got bought here in the city. They are high backed buckets with lumbar support, the center console flips up into a seat with storage. They are stitched together with the stock fabrics from the manufacturer so they last!!
The oil companies buy alot of them. Recently though with the Dodge they can't because of the seatbelt in the seat.
I'm still digging, do have photos if interested. They were $1200 Cdn.

Whats this about the seat belts? Is this something I need to be concerned with or is it only for the newer trucks?

Like Stab my 92 had the Flexsteel Buckets with folding center console similar to this in cloth http://www.Flexsteel.com/vehicle/products/4509BenchSeats.shtml . The seat bottom flipped forward and had a plastic tub that I used for drinks with those cold packs. The only problem was the little door on the center console would fly open and dump the contents onto the back floor - Only happened when it was in the up position and very rough road.

Can Am Cruisers Inc. has a rear bench for the 1st gen.

Look in Summit racing Catalog, There are Steel Horse bench seats in leather with a list of brackets that include our first gen trucks. I have never seen the seats, except for on TRUCKS! TV show. I know Summit and they don't carry junk. How much are those other seats? I think these are $999. 00

The ones I found on the internet were about $400 less than that. I'm sure there is a difference in quality.
I'll look in my summit catalog when I get home and see which ones you are talking about. Don't really want leather, maybe they have cloth.

Have a set of the Steelhorse leather seats sitting in my living room. The seat are real nice, the brackets on the other hand are hopeless, so much for the easy half hour instal. Also the delivery time is poor, the shop that they were purchased from was quoted three weeks, try almost six. Then guess what, the passenger seat was badly damaged, the box was dirty and obviosly the seat had been returned and repacked. Fortunately they managed, after another three weeks, to send a replacement, but still don't have any instructions or hardware. Still interested, Get the seats forget the brackets, I am already fabricating my own and can post a sketch when it's finished if anyone is interested.

Ordered my seats today. Made by Qualitex, model is the VIP Trucker. 3 pcs, cloth, center seat has console type back with storage and cup holders, storage under the center seat, full recline, includes adaptor.

Thanks all for the info. I'll let you know how it works out. Will take a picture if I can figure out how to include with the post!

In researching the new seats for my truck, one thing I found out is that the seats are all the same basic size. A seat that fits a Dodge will also fit a cheby or pford. The difference is in the adaptor that allows the seat to be bolted into the truck. Because of this, I'm sure that a 2nd gen seat will fit into our 1st gen trucks. Will probably take an adaptor of sorts, but will probably fit.
