Aftermarket Seats

I know the question has been asked before, I posted in the 1st gen area without many responses, and I did a search looking for info.
Does anyone know a good source for aftermarket seats? Don't want to spend a fortune, just want to get rid of the bench seat in my 93.
Steelhorse has been suggested, anyone have these and if so, how do you like them?

Lots of options -
New 1)www.salesco.com 2)Steel Horse - Good seats! Recaro, Flofit etc... Very expensive and not build for folks taller than 5'10" or so.

Used - Fabricating adapters is really easy using square stock steel as long as the fit is fairly close to begin with. Most seats from other trucks will be easy to retrofit. Tons of options if you can fit car seats. I had 6 way power buckets in my last truck from a Supra, very plush!

Reupholster - You'd be amazed what a good upholstery shop can do to "plain jane" seats. About half what new ones cost. Make sure they have you come in and they custom fit the foam to your heiney before covering. (The seat, not your heiney... #ad

Any experience with the Salsco seats? Those are the ones I have been looking at but don't have any input from people about the quality.

Well, right or wrong, I ordered a seat today. It's made by Qualitex and the model is the VIP Trucker. I know the guy I ordered from and he said he sells a lot of these.

They are a good looking seat and he said they have held up well.

I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks all for the info.
