So has anyone put one on? Where did you tap into the signal?

Anyone know what type of signal the CPS puts out? I would like to tap into that to run the tach.

I used an "O" Scope from work a few weeks ago and took a look at things.

I found a wire that I thought would work, but no dice. (I also scoped a few "other" things prior to my last dyno run to make sure I was..... oh nevermind)

I think the best bet is a magnetic pickup off the harmonic ballancer.

it was about 250 HZ at idle with a peak voltage of 5 V.

it was a grey black wire on the plug on the firewall above the fuel filter.

the grey black wire on the PCM (Plug C1, PIN 8 on the PCM) was only 2. 5 volts
