Well last week I had to put the rig on sick leave due to a serious whine on the highway (10 times the sound of my Pdr turbo) and a very slight vibration ..... allmost like a bad set of tires when coming to a stop. so in the shop it went and I slid underneath to find not only the center bearing roasted but the primary and seccondary U~Joints were completly destroyed (Pinion joint was fine) I could get at least 1/2 ing of movement by hand between the joints and 3/4 to 1"inch on the center bearing just by pushing upwards on it... ... So off to get rebuilt as I would be laughed out of a dealer anyways. The seccondary joint (Post center bearing) the caps were all that were left in the joint and the cross was about half of what it once was :eek: which threw the shafts out of balance which took out the center bearing and primary spicer joint.

Well now I have a professionaly balanced shaft / with hardened joints ALL of which I had replaced and all I can say now is I think my driveline is smoother than when I bought the truck (Granted the 93% converter and valvebody stiffened up the transmitting end of it) I am now a happy camper once again :D

*Cough* 300 *cough*

But all and all They re ballanced and weighted the shaft as an assembly as well as Phased the two where the slip yoke is , Plus installed ALL u joints and center bearing (118. 00 from dodge)

Toolman, I have a pic of you doing a serious burnout... ... ... ... ... ... . do you think this could have contributed to your drivelines demise:confused: :rolleyes:

Glad to hear your rig is back. BTW, did you get anymore Klez e-mails from me:{
