Anybody know how to get the air bag light to go off? It's on in my dads truck that he just bought. We checked the fuses and do not know where to go from there. -THANKS-

If it is the one next to key slot (passenger side) Light on bag off Turn key in slot light out bag on. LOL Ron Bissett in Metro Louisville KY:confused: :D

If it's the airbag ligh in with the gauges it means there is something wrong with the air bag system.

Does the horn work? Also check any other steering wheel mounted controls like radio and cruise control. If they don't work then it is likely the clockspring is bad. The only way to be sure is to use the scan tool and get the codes and perform the diag procedures.

There is a recall out for the clocksprigs for some of the trucks you might want to check and see if it is one affected by the recall.

You will have to fix the problem to get the light to shut off.
