Archived air bag light

The air bag light came on the dash while coming home last night. Anyone ever have this problem before or know how to fix it?

97 Dodge 2500, 4x4, auto.

EEsh sounds to me like a clockspring issue (however on a 97?)

Sounds like the Cloclspring. On a 97'? Sure. Just replaced the one on my wife's '99 !
