I have been wanting to level out my 3500 and was considering front springs. A co-worker runs air bags on his Ferd, rear, and is thrilled with the results... . he tows a 35' fifth wheel.

Has anyone out there in CTD land installed air bags on their truck? If so, how, or did you drop it first to level it out? Where would I go to find these?

Firestone

I have the Firestone airbags on the rear together with the in-cab adjust kit, which is a real benefit. I run about 20psi empty both sides and with the slide-in camper on-board or heavy loads in the bed, I run it up to about 60psi both sides. It's been very reliable and has not given me any problems see other details in sigfile below.....

How would you drop the back to level it out before installing the air bags?

I have read the posts on the "Velvet Ride" shackles... just does not seem too impressive? Feedback please.
