I got a set of firestones for the truck today and it seems that the lower bracket for the left side sits exactly where the 4 way brake line connecter hooks to the axle. For any of you guys that have installed firestones on your truck, did you have the same problem and what did you do the correct the situation. I did a search on air bag(s) firestone, firestone air bag(s). The stupid search engine brings up everything but the requested subject. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

There is a kit available, ( I can't remember where I saw it).

I do remember it turns the rear-end housing vent, from vertical, to a 90 degree angle with a barbed fitting, and allows the placement of bag where it's supposed to go.

I would call a tech at Firestone, or the vendor where you bought it. They should know about this problem, and where to get the kit.

Ok, I've done more research on the installation of my bag kit. It looks like I HAVE to remove the height sensing proportioning valve. I went to the #$^$@*&$! (place where they sell new parts) and they quoted me a price for a rubber brake line that goes from the brake line that hooks up to the height valve to the distribution block on the axle(less than 9 inches) of 287 dollars. The part number is 52009575AE. Does anyone know where I could snag one of these at a decent price?

Any and all help is really really appreciated.
