I know this subject has been beat to death but I cannot decide which to use on my truck. I have used air bags in the past and loved them. The problem is that with my goose neck mount on the side of my frame it will require modification to either the goose neck mount or the airbag mount. I like the ride of my truck and don't want to sacrifice the ride. With the trailer hooked up the back of the truck drops about 3-4". I would like to keep it level. I do not have the overload springs, aka, (camper special).

Will ride quality suffer using the Timberens? Has anybody installed airbags with a goose neck hitch? Any help would be appreciated. I would like to do this soon.

I do not have any experience with air bags. I have the Timbren's and am very happy with them. They are a very easy install.

On the front end of my 4X2, the suspension stops look like little yellow Timbrens. They're pretty close to the stop so I have to assume they come into play while driving. The Timbrens look like a good idea even if you only carry an occasional load. I'll probably be giving them a try. I like simplicity.
