Hi,

I am looking to add a set of air bags and was looking at what pacbrake has to offer, since I have there exhaust brake.

Anything I should know about, or is there a better product?

TIA.

I have the PacBrake air bags, had them for 2 years, easy install, they fit great, very high quality, and best of all they work very well, as for the others I can't comment, but when I was comparing them a couple of years ago they appeared to be what I wanted, I was right.

Thanks Ron, Thats all I needed to hear. I will be placing the order tomorrow.

Do you have the compressor so you can change the air in your cab? I'm thinking I will go that route since I have there compressor already.

thanks for the quick replies.

MiCummins,

I have a Pac PRXB exhaust brake and Firestone Ride Rites with a Firestone compressor and in cab controls for the bags. My original Pac compressor quit about the time I decided to add the Ride Rites so I ordered the Firestone "Super Heavy Duty" (75% duty cycle) compressor.

I have so many gages, switches, brake controller, etc I didn't know where to put the gages and switches for the bags so i ended up putting them in the lower console. Not as convenient as I originally intended, but I only change air pressure when loading/unloading or hitching/unhitching.

I'm glad I went with the in cab controls. It sure makes things easy.

I also added an air quick disconnect valve on the rear inside of the box to fill all the bags on my trailer.

Juan
