yes separated is ideal. but when you fill you will get uneven pressure because of the location of the valves and length of the tubs to the bag.

additionally you have the same problem with the deflate.

(the above is in ref. to individual fill and individual dump valves. )

Therefore: one fill and one dump is the easiest to install.

I just wish there was a highly restricted coupler/fitting that would highly slow the transfer of air from side to side, that would give some time to make the cure and level the truck side to side, before much sway.

I have about 1800lbs in the bed (all the time), so when i raise it up to about factory

I believe that we lose the anti sway part built/designed into the leafs to help prevent the sway.

Air pressure is the same regardless of length of line or diameter. The time to fill will change with restriction.

Airbagit.com has built me an entirely new kit for my truck since the original kit didn't fit my axle perfectly without me having to mod it. This set of brackets is supposed to be powder coated which is really a must. I've been going back and forth with one of the Airgagit.com guys giving him feedback on what HD truck guys are going to expect. The kit should show up tomorrow and I look forward to seeing how well they pulled off making the modifications.

I have the Kelderman 2-bag rear system. It decouples the rear springs from the frame with the bag in between. It improved the ride empty as well as with the 5ver. I have a 120psi tank that feeds a low pressure tank as well as the air horns. The low pressure tank feeds the air bags and provides some cushion. I run the it at about 30psi empty and about 60psi with the trailer.

Well, after talking to the Dodge dealer it sounds like the kit Airbagit.com initially sent me was a generic kit and would not have fit any 2006 or newer trucks. I did get my updated powder coated brackets in and they look really good. I'm going to try to install them this weekend.

Overall, I like the inside the frame airbag design but I would like to see Firestone or another company make a kit. The Firestone kits use better brass air fittings instead of plastic and comes with good installation directions. If you look close at the pictures of the Airbagit.com kits it shows metal fittings but it actually comes with plastic. The kit also shows it come with elbows for the air lines but it does not. The kit also has both airbags plumbed together which can be a problem from what people have posted.

There are two fittings with larger parts than other kits that attach to the top of the bags instead of just one smaller fitting like the Firestone kit. Having multiple larger parts to thread together makes it more of a challenge to seal up the system so it doesn't have very slow leaks that are hard to detect. Overall the kit has a little to much of a flea market feel to it. I'd really like to see a Firestone version of this kit. For now I'm going to have to give Airbagit.com the thumbs down until they their act together better.

I had the air lift in my truck alone at first. They were a pain because you have to fill each separately. Then I got and installed (myself) the in cab set up. his was a great setup. Once the road got a little bouncy while towing you make a couple of quick adjustments and the ride evened out. I had them for over 4 year and no problems al all. I sold my 04,5 to a friend who still has no issues. So Airlift has my vote.

Good pics CumminZ. As soon as I swap out a few parts I'll post some pics as well. Having to compact your file sizes for posting pics here is a pain.

I have the firestones, one valve, one gauge. I have no sway problem what so ever. I pull a 40' gooseneck and average 12K-18K on trailer. I run bags at either 30 or 60 and have not probs with whats being discussed in previous post. Bags or on a 2008 4500.
