air bags

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use the Firestone air bags as a spring replacement on a small trailer. I built a trailer for a 100 gal. fuel cell and get to much bounce on the highway. I know Kelderman makes a unit for our trucks that works through the hitch. The trailer has a 1500 lb axle under it. Me being a welder, I would not have a problem fabing a mount if I knew the bags would work.



Any Ideas?
