Air Box Modification

I used to have a Toyota Tacoma and a lot of guys, me included, modified their airbox for more airflow. I cut a 4 inch round hole in the top front side of the airbox and installed a 4 inch marine deckplate. I could unscrew the plate to leave a 4 inch hole for better airflow or close it up.



I wonder if this is something that would work on a diesel.

Absolutely, but it's best if you can keep it from breathing the hot eng compartment air.
