air charge rubber boot for 1989

i have a 1989 dodge that has a leaking air intake charge boot . i went to mopar and they dont make them anymore, then cummins said they never made this only dodge... it is the boot that comes directly off the turbo to the air intake arm... (non intercooled)... hell theres only one boot but nobody makes one anymore... anyone know where to go? any help would be appreciated..... thanks again

I think your Cummins guy is confused by the description. It IS a Cummins part. The charge air cooler boots ( used on intercooled trucks ) are Dodge only. I will get you the part number tomorrow. Shadrach

The original Cummins p/n for the hose on an 89 is 3912181. It supercedes to 3916168. Unfortuanatly both are obsolete. HOWEVER ask your Cummins guy to order 1 from a company called SR Sales ( a warehouse for slow moving and obsolete parts ). He should know what I am talking about. If he doesn't, you can call them yourself at 262-522-6644. They are in Waukesha WI and should sell to you but probably at a higher price?? Shadrach
