AIR CLEANER MOD - LOOKING FOR 4" HOSE

I Have A 04. 5 And I M Going To Drill A 4" Hole In The Bottom Of My Air Cleaner And I Can T Find Any Rubber Hose Or Rubber Flexilbe Hose To Install To My 4" Hole , Any Idea's ? I Know There A Couple Of Companys That Sell The Whole Kit But I Want To Make My Own And Save The Cash , Any Help I Would Be Grateful , Dryer Hose Won T Work , Not Heavy Duty Enough :-{}

Try the commercial type dryer hose, it's flexable aluminum. Home improvement stores such as menards, fleetmills, lowes, etc. etc.

On my '99, I connected the airbox to the cowling using some creative fittings and 4" dust collector hose I picked up at a Home Depot - CHEAP - worked great for over 200000 miles

Ditto what TStinson said. Dust collector hose and some pipe clamps is the way to go.

What I did was use a 4" floor connection for a toilet. Bolted up real nice and was able to pop rivet a length of 4" corrugated aluminum dryer hose to that.

I should have taken pics of mine. I used the 4" toilet bowl floor thingy and 4" aluminum expandable hose. All from Home Depot.
