I noticed a noise coming from the A/C fan the other day . It sounds like it is coming from the A/C inside the truck and it increases in noise as you turn the fan speed up. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ummmmmm... . No not me. Welcome to the TDR! Someone will answer your question and may even be able to tell you how to fix it.

Please tell us more about your truck so we can help. Year, 1ton, auto or manual trans etc... ?

I own a 2003 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 3500 SRW with the 5 speed manual. The only engine mod is the PACBrake Exhaust brake. I'm considering adding the Edge Juice module for more power and gauges.

I experienced it on my 01. Some pine straw had dropped through the cowling in front of the windshield and was lodged in the fan. It make a scrubbing, almost squeaking sound. I took the fan off, cleaned out the trash and it solved the problem.

Now, on my wife's 05 Grand Cherokee, we had a different type of noise. It was like an off key flute. At about 70 mph or with the fan on high, there was a faint "flute" noise that would drive me crazy. The entire air box had to be replaced under the dash. It was the dual control system and there was something wrong that made the box whistle under pressure.

You might try this test and see if you have a problem related to a AC TSB. Select the floor only setting, turn the fan up full blast and see if air comes out the defrost... ... ... ..... if so there is a defective door in the AC ducting that does not operate properly and should be replaced. If this is the case and you are under warranty then they will fix it free of charge.

Yep, probably something got sucked in from the inlet or dropped in from the dash - a piece of a leaf, part of a celophane wrapper, a straw, or something like that is typical. The fan should be pretty easy to remove. Just three screws and unplug the wiring harness and a little "rotation and tilt" to get it out, according to the manual. If it isn't something in the fan I don't know how far you can see/reach through the hole to clear something in the ducts.
