Air Conditioning

Hello 4th gen owners,



I'm just curious if the 4th gens air conditioning systems are performing as they should be. The 3rd gens have had so many problems (poor cooling, broken blend doors, etc,) that hopefully they've been remedied with the new design. I haven't heard/read anything so thought I'd throw out the question.

So far 16k and no problems. Have the Longhorn with dual climate controlls and ac in the seats, love it!

my 12 works just fine, I did have a 05, it worked fine, but the new one is better

Thanks for the replies, that's good to hear. I'm thinking about a new truck however I'm going to wait and see how the DEF system plays out. Maybe 2014, it's going to be tough to step away from my trusty 5. 9 and great mileage.

My 12' was not cooling when it sat idling this summer. I had 1,500 miles on it. As soon as I started driving it would cool the cab right off...



Found that new TSB for the clutch fan and brought it to the dealer. 1 Day later they installed the new cluch fan and it has been perfect.



My 12 has was built in July.

My AC works good but not as good as my Camry. I activated the snow plow mode all summer and that helped when stuck in stop and go traffic.
