yogi it sounds like a plan. my wife is going to love this as soon as i get my new truck i am taking it apart and giving pieces away. somtimes i understand why the divorce rates are so high in america. :-{}
Just a heads up, I took mine off when I installed the plow mount on my truck and as I remember a couple of nut's on top are hard to get to and I ended up with the sawzall cutting the bolt's.
When I ordered my 03 --2 wheel drive, my dealer told me they are a waste of money on the 2 wheel drive as most get knocked off when driving in to park and the curbs bust them off, so I saved the $22. 00 and didn't order my truck with one. I should get my truck this next coming week, so I still haven't seen it with out the air dam.
I took mine off today Oo. I like the look of it without. Mine is a sport model so the dam is a part of the molded bumper fascia. First I removed the bolts holding the support for it then a utility knife down the "seam" between the bumper and the dam took care of it. A dremel tool took care of the part hanging in the wheel opening.
Eric, I SHOULD've done it at Macomb. Sorry I was chicken, but I told you I'd do it.
