I am going to remove the air dam when i get my truck. anybody else agree is makes the truck look like it sits up higher?

also does anybody want it?

free. i dont have my truck yet but when i get it in i will look you up. you pay shipping and i will send it to ya it is good to be a TDR memeber huh. guests,... . now this is why you should join the TDR sometime you can get free stuff for your ram:-laf

Better than that, I'll pick it up, I get thru there quite a bit on I-10 & 12, was just there last week. Let me know when your trk. gets in and I'll e-mail you my cell ph. #, and we'll get together. I love oysters on half shell and shrimp, always stop at Landrys at exit #115 in Lafayette and eat.

yogi it sounds like a plan. my wife is going to love this as soon as i get my new truck i am taking it apart and giving pieces away. somtimes i understand why the divorce rates are so high in america. :-{}

Just a heads up, I took mine off when I installed the plow mount on my truck and as I remember a couple of nut's on top are hard to get to and I ended up with the sawzall cutting the bolt's.

When I ordered my 03 --2 wheel drive, my dealer told me they are a waste of money on the 2 wheel drive as most get knocked off when driving in to park and the curbs bust them off, so I saved the $22. 00 and didn't order my truck with one. I should get my truck this next coming week, so I still haven't seen it with out the air dam.

How about this Air-dam?

I got this for the cold air induction that is part of the design. Have to modify the airbox for the big hose to get to it.

I took mine off today Oo. I like the look of it without. Mine is a sport model so the dam is a part of the molded bumper fascia. First I removed the bolts holding the support for it then a utility knife down the "seam" between the bumper and the dam took care of it. A dremel tool took care of the part hanging in the wheel opening.

Eric, I SHOULD've done it at Macomb. Sorry I was chicken, but I told you I'd do it. ;)

If only I had a digital camera... . :{

I'll shoot some pics and get the roll developed and scan them. (but don't hold your breath--it will take a while)
