Some of the older trucks , before air dams, air flow would packup in engine compartment caused by high pressure air flow under truck. There on our trucks for a reason..... "

When my truck made it home yesterday the air dam was missing, had a run in with a pile of dirt. :{
My question up for discussion is, should I replace it before we head north next May/June time frame, which would require purchasing one north of the border and getting it across, or purchasing an aftermarket dam in Mexicalli. Another option would be waiting until we get back to WA state and taking care of it there.
The temps if we wait could be anywhere from the 80s to as high as 110 on the highways northbound.
Any advise, recommendations?
