I just installed the air dog 100 in factory location and the fuel press. at the vp44 at idle is 13-14 psi and goes to 10 psi at 2000 rpm in neutral but returns to 12 psi while still at 2000 rpm is this a good thing or does it need to be adjusted Mike
I'm assuming you've got the model with the adjustable regulator? I personally would adjust it up so that you can maintain 15-16 psi driving down the road under moderate loads. Idle pressure and wot are OK for testing but that is where you want to be for everyday driving. Also, make sure you fill out that warranty card and send it in.
I installed an Airdog 150, didn't pay attention to the warranty card, pump went out in about a year, they wouldn't honor it because i didn't send in the warranty card, but they won't get a second chance either, i won't buy another, Monte
I pull a load Maybe once a year 20FT enclosed with 4 Harleys in it To Panama City Beach 550 Miles! What Pressure is too much Im sure there is a danger to pump pressure.
