I have a air dog pump on my truck. do i ghave to buy there filters? i have a buddy that said he bought both and they were like $150 for both is that true? can i use fleetguard or some other brand thats easy and cheaper to get?thanks robert

Get the CAT 2 Micron Filters

If the thread is 1-14 UNS get the CAT 1R-0750 or the giant 1R-0749 as they are a true 2 micron absolute. If you have trouble getting the CAT filters let me know and I'll hook you up and if you're attending May Madness and want me to bring some just let me know how many you need and which filter.

Filters

Thanks jbon. . i have no problem gettting cat filters im in cat country. . what d7o i replace the filter/water seperator with? Do they have a match for that app also?thanks again guys robert

You can replace the FWS with a CAT 175-2949 and use either of the CAT filters I mentioned above. If you have the room use the 1R-0749 as it is a larger capacity filter and if not the 1R-0750 will work too... I use both in series. :-laf

I have and Air Dog and I believe the Air Dog uses 7/8-14 thread filters. Call them and they will provide the Fleetguard numbers. Their filters are not that expensive, in the $teens as I recall directly from them.

Air Dog 100 filters

Just went to Cal Pac. Cummins Bloomington CA bought filters for Air Dog 100 FF 5613 was $12 and change the W/S FS 19594 ( better than AD WS) was $19 and change bought a case of 5613 dont know if that was the reason for the price or not dont know how much 1 would cost.

I tryed both of the Cat filters mentioned and neither one fit the Air Dog threads. They were too big.

Someone ripped your buddy off or he bought an entire case. They are only $15
