Finally got around to putting the Fuel Preporator Air Dog system on this weekend. Fuel pressure stays about 12 at wide open throttle and runs about 16 the rest of the time. The stock pump would drop to 0 at WOT and ran about 6 at idle. It seems like the truck accellerates smoother and pulls a little harder, not a huge difference but noticable. Talk about good tech support, it was Saturday afternoon and I was having trouble getting the quick disconnect hose to snap on the fitting at the tank, I suspected that the little tab thing that was left on the fitting after I took the factory connection loose need to be tore off but was hesitant to do so as you can't see this fitting, It's strictly by feel, so, I callled Larry on his cell phone, he worked for the Air Dog company and he answered the phone on a Saturday afternoon. I told him what was going on and he explained how to remove the tab, the hose snapped right on after that. Thanks for the help Larry, I'm satisfied with this pump.

But did you check,...

Ck and be sure you got the 3 micron filter. Pressure is fine,... crap in your fuel line isn't.

Install was bout 4 hours, the second time would be about half that now that I'm familiar with the quick disconnect fittings. Mine came with the 3 miron filter.

I just got around to replacing the filters for the first time on my Airdog. It sure was nice to reach up and twist off the old and twist on the new filters. No need to jack up or lift the truck and no limited clearance issues for wrenches.

I believe all 3rd generation kits are shipped with the 3 micron filter. I installed mine 2 months ago and I have to agree, the product is excellent and the support is too! I think it took me a little longer than 4 hours but I like to take my time and enjoy working on my truck.
