Well I finally got some free time to get things done. I installed the kit two days ago, and am looking to see what difference there is. A few comments on the general installation and kit as a whole:

1) I'm a little leery on where the pump ***'y is mounted, might be easily removed by a road 'gator or some thing.

2) The instructions were very clear on how to do, but could have given more guidance on where to - e. g. run hose and wires to allow safer path to engine.

3) The wiring harness should have been longer and unterminated with the pieces included as loose parts. Wasn't enough wiring to place things where I felt they should go - putting the relay up out of water's way or better yet, inside the cab. In fairness, I'm kind of picky about how things function and fit as a systemas well as how they look when done.

4) Addin a 90 swivel/pushlock for the pump to engine port would make it easier to run the fuel line from tank to engine inside the framerail.

When I placed my order I was told that the wiring for the WIF sensor had been added to the harness by Mr. Ekstam personally. Sadly this was NOT the case.

The adage buyer beware still applies.

Got rid of one item on the to do list, added two more. Some days you just can't win :-laf

Now about those DSS kits... ... . :D

What type of truck do you have? I ran my fuel lines through the frame rail from the tank to the Airdog. The Airdog to the engine are not supported as well but supported very well IMO they way I ran it. My location is higher than the skid plate so if something can grab it from there I think I will have bigger worries than the Airdog :{ .

My electrical wire was plenty long enough, infact I had to roll up excess and bundle it in a safe spot. My only complaint is the amount of 1/2 inch fuel line that was supplied. It did the job but being cut to fit yourself I only had about an inch and a half left over  and I thought I took a very direct route.

Anyway glad you got it installed and here's to it having a long life

Funny, I had about 5' too much fuel line. :) I thought I didthe best I could with clearances. The lines out from pump to engine are too close to the cab at the gap with the bed IMHO. Some creative routing with different fittings will "fix" that. I'm really paranoid about the filter/separator just hanging in the open. I worry too much, I know.

Where did you get through the frame rail?

I had a small gap between the frame and tank (back of the tank). I tied a string to the end of the fuel line and fed it down the gap, took some needle nose pliers to reach through the 1" gap at the bottom and grab the string and then pulled the fuel line through the rail and out at the front of the tank which happened to be only 6 or 7 inches from the Airdog. Did same thing for the return line though it was a little more tricky because the fit was a little tight. I think that will cut down on the vibration and rubbing though.

I have seen a few guys fab up a skid plate that incases the AirDog so it's hidden. I like the idea, but don't have a clue on how to do it. Wiring for the WIF sensor?

I got mine directly from Ekstam just before their price increase. Ekstam was bought buy another company and raised there price dramatically. I probably wouldnt buy one at today's prices.
