Im about ready to head up to Riverdale and visit Browns Diesel to get my Goerend transmission and smarty. I know i will need a fuel system upgrade but will i be able to get away with doing it right away. The truck has only 5000 miles so its still new. I will be getting the airdog 150 but if i dont have to do it right away i would like to save up alittle and wait. Also i have a stage 3 dr. performance preditor should i keep this with the smarty or just get rid of it. Thanks guys.

If you run the smarty alone it will drain the pressure from the in tank transfer pump. I would install the Air Dog just as insurance for that 1400 dollar CP3. I ran a Triple dog on the stock system, but as soon as I went with a TST, my transfer pressure dropped way down. That's when I went with a FASS.

Since your truck is fairly new I don't know that you would have to do it right now, but I would do it fairly soon. In addition to keeping pressure to the CP3, the Air Dog will give you better filtration than stock. That goes a long way toward saving your CP3 and your injectors.

clndesl,

I just got the Raptor installed a few months ago, Eric did the work, flawless/awesome.

If you make it a one day trip lemme know if you need a passanger, its always nice to see those guys again, maybe I can convince them to BBQ while were there, unless its freezing like it was when I was there recently...

Back when I lived in Cali I went over to browns diesel. I asked a few questions on what to do with my truck and was treated very badly from them guys . I have steered quite a few guys away from them on how I was treated at Browns diesel.
