I have developed a problem on this last trip to Utah with my airdog and or quadzilla gauges. I got about 100 miles from home and noticed that the fuel pressure was bouncing around from 0 - 7 or 8. If I let off the throttle it would bounce right back to the usual 14 and stay until I accelerated again. I have alot of confidence in my airdog and very little (to say the least) in the quad gauge and fuel psi sender. Anyone else ever have problems with airdog like this before? I have been round and round with quad and this crappy product of theirs and plan to install a nice set of REAL gauges in the fall when I can afford it. I have a spare sender I can install and see if that fixes it. I'll update tomorrow after I do that but wanted to post here and try to solicite some responses before then.

Thanks for ALL the great ideas guys!

Prolly the gauge. I went through a few quad senders (same symptoms, drove me nuts!) with my ADR and then got a mech. gauge from Vulcan. No issues since.

I had the same problem with my Air Dog , pressure bounced around and got my very worried, turned out it was the sender I had purchased from Geno's 1 year ago, they sent me a new one and that corrected the problem immediately. Hope yours turns out the same way!

It was the quad sender. This makes #4 and this last one was supposed to be "heavy duty. " I guess I should start shopping for some nice pod mounts... ...

I wonder if they will ever figure out how to get a sending unit to last. . I don't even look at mine anymore, I put a low pressure warning light until i fiugure out what to do.

Good Idea Moine drives me nuts bouncing around all the time I thought about putting tape over it and check it when I suspect a problem.

Sometime ago I bought a sender from another source that was supposed to be compatible to the Quad Adrenaline. It was not actually; it reads 2 x's the actual pressure verified with a mechanical gauge. So you have to divide by 2 the reading to get actual which is easy enough. It is rock solid though with no jumping around.

you can use a snubber or make a damper with bronze filter media to stop the needle from bouncing and make the gauge last longer too.
