I was looking the Air Dog and was wondering, because it says nothing about being a pusher pump, so I'm assuming that it just de-airates the fuel, it's not a pusher like a FASS system, is that right?

Funny- it looks a lot like a FASS system as well... :-laf

Looooong story about FASS and Air Dog. Do a search and sit back for hours of reading about how the inventor's son AirDog stole his design and started making FASS systems. Sad to see a fued like that between a father and son.

CHolman,

Whether the AirDog is a pusher or a sucker depends on where you put it in the fuel stream. Designed and sold as a pusher but I have mine mounted in the bed of the truck so does that make it a pucker or susher??? It sucks from the tank mounted 2 feet below it and then pushes to the VP.

All fun aside the AirDog is a fantastic pump, designed and built much better than other electric pumps.

At the present time the AirDog comes with a coupon for 2 extra fuel filters and one extra water separator which makes the $ very close to the FASS.

PM for the number of an AirDog dealer.
