is the AF1492 a/the good filter??? its 4 13/32 " (?) at good deal $$$

otherwise Ill get a Wix 49946

what is the Hastings / Baldwin AF1492 ? Is that a Hasting number and same as the PA 4458

Why don't you buy the Mopar or the Cummins filter from Genos's garage?

I myself will only use the Mopar or Cummins filter for my truck. I have never had an issue in the 14 years I have own my truck. The Cummins filter from Genos's is cheaper depending on year for the 5.9L engine. Buy several filters such as air, fuel and so forth to offset the shipping cost.

I agree Geno’s has by far the best prices for filters. Parker- Raycor makes the fuel filter under the bed. It’s their design and patent.

Because Genos is out of stock and back ordered and besides they want $32 bucks each for air filter plus shipping... Rock auto is $19-$23 plus shipping . About the same price to just go to local Napa and pay $40

I buy 4 oil filters from genos at a time

This day and age it’s best to keep a set, or two, of filters and oil on the shell. Use one, buy one.

If you can’t get an OEM filter I’d look for a Wix. Last I saw Wix was making the filter for Mopar, but that’s been a few years.

I’m a big fan of Baldwin filters too, but the PA4162 is the older 2” filter. The PA4458 is the 4” version.

Be careful with Amazon filters, there have been plenty of reports of counterfeit filters. Geno’s is expensive, but you know you are getting what you think you are.

I just got a OE air cleaner box to replace the K&N junk previous owner installed, so shopping for OE airfilters
