Air filter question again

I am changing the airfilter for the first time (fleetguard) and was wondering if you are supposed to oil the foam portion of the filter or leave it dry????

OH NOSE, you do not oil the paper filter Foam top! The foam is an added layer to keep large particles from getting sucked into the pleats, without sacraficing airflow.



DO not oil paper filters of any kind.
