Is there any point in putting an AFE ProGuard 7 in my New HO? I have placed K&N filters, etc in autos and never really noticed any difference other than the intake sound. Kind of feel it may have no significant effect on the Dodge?

You will notice a big difference if you install anything instead of the stocker. I'm like you, never noticed a change before but the stock filters are so restrictive that it revs easier and quicker with an aftermarket setup.

If you or anybody else is near me I would be happy to let you try out a drop in AFE (I have an extra laying arround).

I dunno, I dyno'd my truck with the AFE drop in and with the complete BullyDog intake.

The AFE made 10 H. P. more than stock.

The BullyDog made 11 more H. P. than stock. (and cost $200 more)

I think the BullyDogs attributes would be more evident on an engine that had a fueling box or other mods.
