Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I just went from the AFE Stage II back to the stock air box to see if it would be better not pulling engine warmed air. I used the AFE Super Stock IRF and now it pulls the filter minder over half way and I have yet to tow with it. I will put in a stock filter tomorrow for comparison. I am a bit surprised that the AFE did not flow better. Maybe the AFE stock replacement would do a better job.
BTW, I had no minder on the stage II, and the stock air box really silences the intake noise.
