I've read that the K/N filter does not fit right - what kind should I use? What is BHAF? I have a 98,2500 QC 4WD 12v

BHAF is the "Big honkin Air Filter" and it will attach to your turbo inlet hose real easy and will help with EGT and smoke which means it breathes better. It will run about $35-$45. It completely replaces the stock air box and filter.

Napa 2790 $39 or $42

fleetguard AH19037 $38

Cummins 3924541 $??

Donaldson ECB15006 $34

Balwin PA2820 $27

I havnt found it at these prices but some have.

Deezul 1 - When you buy those part numbers, do you just get the filter element itself or everything you need? Is anything else needed?

dray - I agree the BHAF is probably the way to go, but I have a K&N now and it works just fine. No dirt leaking by it and sticking in the intake system. So I do think the K&N is fine.
