air filters?

i just replaced the afe mega canon with a new fleetguard(stock type) and i have two questions.

the filter(fleetguard) from genos has no foam the stock did -- i awesume it does not matter -- any comments?



second, will the new afe filter from genos fit my old(afe) base?

The new Fleetguard filters no longer have the foam on them.

the foam was a pre-filter but like was said before fleetguard has done away with the prefilter.
