Most seam to last 5 mnutes after you open them up. I just want one that lasts. Theres tons of them at Wal-mart. Any of work?

The best I have found is to soak a nice handtowel in clean #2 diesel, wring it out, and place it over the rearview mirror mount #ad

The wonderful aroma will last a long time hehehe

I find that a wet dog in the back seat also works well.

Gentleman, I have THE air freshener solution (courtesy of my 12 valved neighbor)...

Buy those glade "plug-in" refill's, and stick one on the dash near the windshield in one of the recessed holes (can't remember for sure, but i think there is a bolt head there). These last for about a month and make your truck smell like a florist crammed into a closet... no kidding, this is the real deal. They are heat activated, so the sun hitting them up there really "turn's em loose". Go ahead, try it. . you might as well bomb when doing the foo foo stuff too

My solution:
Steal a box of those fabric soft'ner sheets that your wife usually tosses in the dryer (Bounce for example).

Open up the overhead console that normally holds the garage remote control and stuff two in there. Leave the slightly open box under the passenger seat or stuffed under the quad cab rear seat.

You should find that this works for quite awhile and is super cheat to maintain.

FOR THOSE 911 ODOR PROBLEMS (pet, smoke, etc):
After a cross country trip this summer where I 'let' my wife smoke to keep the peace, I closed up the truck on a hot sunny day after blasting the interior with 'Fabreeze'. You can not smell smoke in it at all! Great stuff!!

The wet dog really does work. Lasts and lasts. I use Ode'toNewfs. A fine Newfoundland import #ad

A dead fish stuffed under your buddies seat works also. He'll never notice any other smell after the second day.

Years ago I knew a guy that used his wife's FDS to spray into his rig.

I agree with the febreze stuff too. We had a fire at work last summer and had to leave the truck sitting in the parking lot when we evacuated. The south wind that was blowing that day blew every bit of smoke through the cracked windows of my truck. Even after the 45 min. drive home with the windows down, I could still smell it strongly. I took some febreze and sprayed it. Left the windows about half open all night, and couldn't smell a thing the next morning.

The DEAD BIRDIE in the heat/ac cowl plenum lasts for a long long long time , and it is easy to service when it needs replacing. Just reach in and remove the old petrified one and drop in a fresh one.

the dead fish also works good too!!, but is usually located and disposed of rather quickly. the bird is more stealthy!!!!
just my $. 02
