big, big, big, boo boo!

raising fifth wheel 2 or 3 inches

I was looking at the ROHO company Air Hawk Pro air cushion. These were developed for people in wheel chairs, long distance truck drivers etc etc to prevent pain, burning, numbness etc. The price is a little steep ($190) but wondered if anyone has tried this cushion or had a good or bad experience.

Thanks for any information.

I've been using one for several years now. They are well worth the money. You can poke holes in them so be sure to get a repair kit for vinyl, I used a water bed repair kit. I don't know if it is worth the extra $100 to get the Neoprene one. If you get one don't blow it up tight, it won't have room to fit you like it should.

Just ordered my 3rd one yesterday. they are expensive but its one of the few things that you will be more than satisfied with. I would go with the pro siries, It lasts longer than the reg one. Keep your reciet as it wil probly seperate befor the 2 year warrenty is up and they told me they will exchange them no charge for seperation with proof of purchase for 2 years. they charged me 6 bux for ground, wanted 50 for overnight

Thank you for the replies and the positive results. I'm surprised it fails within 2yrs, so keeping the receipt is a good idea. I see the "pro" is a 22" model and the regular is 19". I need to measure my seat to see which one fits. The pro is neoprene and the other is vinyl, do they last about the same?

Thanks for the help and site reference.

You're right, I measured the seat in the truck (air ride seat, not stock). It will take a 19" X 19" but the 22" X 22" is to long front to back. I think I'll try the smaller one. Thanks for all the help.

Check out www.OregonAero.com--Super product, no patches to worry about and is the greatest thing for the lower back ever made. Got two of the 1" Portable Softseat cushions w/ lumbar support and gonna get one for my son. For the long haul it can't be beat.
