I have a triple train horn I've purchased even before my truck came in and want to get it mounted. It has a 2. 5 gal tank, the horns are HUGE compressor will fit in many places. Any suggestions to where I can mount the tank and horns? Pictures would be great, I know a bunch of guys have them, but where do you put them?

Thanks

Darren

The Radiator crossbrace underneath well ... . the radiator is one HECK of a sweet spot for oh say Hadleys or grovers. The longer horns (Read 36" or more  ) work great on the side of the frame OR lengthwise behind the front bumper tucked inside but can be a bear to conceal.

My horns are very large similar to Yo Hoot's and it doesn't look like there is room for them under front of truck anywhere. If I mounted along frame rail the 1st horn would not be very close to third. I may be forced to mount under bed. :(

That is exactly where they go. (Unless you are Dually fortunate which you are not) Hoot's Hooters are under the bed (Uhhh that did not sound right) :-laf facing the rear (nor did that)

Funny note to this... tonite while working on the rig during coffee nite AHartley Flipped the compressor arm switch in the cab while I was adjusting the 2n'd gear lockup switch. Lo and behold my 2 year old broken compressor sprang to life and with PRESSURE LOL! One head bolt snapped off and the thang still works :-laf It was slated for removal soon and was going to swap it out for a Viair but she is kickin arse!

Ps Thanks for the A/C Fix TMTT!!!

I mounted a set of trains in the cavity in front of the rear tire. Turned the bells frontward and have had no trouble with them at all. The pump is mounted on the inside of the frame in front of the fuel tank and the air tank is outside the frame under the driver in front of the body mount.

All is well so far.
