got a crazy question for you guys with the under hood mounted BIG horns..... do you lose any volume or sound quality with them mounted under hood? i have hadley bullies mounted under the radiator... but i just got a 25" grover emergency and i may not be able to mount it in the same place..... thanks gang

tntway,

How does the grover emergency sound? I had my hadley bullys mounted on the bumper support and my 35 inch tire had a bad introduction with them last nite. Broke one of the bells right off. So I am debating on replacing them with the same or different kind. Do you still have your bullys?

just got it today.....

outlawram..... i just got it today so i havent had a chance to really investigate yet... . ya know--24 1/2" x 6" is really a good size horn.

ya dont realize untill ya se it and hold it in your hands... ill let ya know as soon as i figger it out.

You should be able to install that horn with little effort on the frame cross member, behind the bumper. I just finished putting two grovers on my truck in that location (24 1/2" and 21 1/2", 6 " bells). I used a piece of flat stock 1/8" steel to fabricate 3 simple brackets, one for the rear which supports both horns and two for the front, one for each pedestal . I have some pics. but just relaized that I can't post them in a reply ????I could put them up in the readers rigs section if you are interested.
