Sure would like a pair of Grovers right out on my roof, where everyone can see them.

1) I live in New Jersey.

2) Can anyone tell me if there is any legal restriction to doing so?

3) Can anyone tell me where I can research this to get something to carry in the cab?

4) Of course, they would be working.

Thank You

Grovers  Airhorns???

Just displayed my ignorance!!

I like the undercover approach. Mounted mine at the driver's firewall pointing forward right next to the battery. It'll move a front wheel drive out of the left lane FAST. Not sure about your question about "in the cab", but I mounted a push type pneumatic valve to the lower right of the steering wheel.

I think he is meaning something that shows that they are legal in his state...

Its not usually the air horn that is illegal, its all about how loud they are. If they are past a certain level then they are probaby illegal. I know where I live they are technically illegal but getting pulled over for loud horns is not going to happen unless you give the cops more reasons. My wife got asked not he blow her horn at people by a cop, but he was laughing when he told her.
