Looking for some new air hose for impact tools. We have been assembling a couple of Steel Span Buildings and the air line to the impact guns sounds like its cracking or crunching up inside when its rolled up from the cold, its been at or a shade above/below 0* degrees so what ever it is will have to take that at least that if not colder, I have a water sep /filter on the compressor and another water sep/filter at a junction box for multi air lines to run more than one gun at a time. Im getting some NASTY looking crud in the filters and dont want that to get into the tools. Any help would be great to have

Thanks

Is your hose rubber or vinyl? How old is the hose? Sounds like your hose is flaking on the inside. For best protection of your tools I'd recommend a new good quality rubber hose. Just don't get one from Harbor Freight.

The Goodyear Gorilla hose is very durable and rated to -20 deg. We used it when I worked for a CAT dealer, held up well till it got ran over with a D10

Mine is a rubber hose and NOW that you mention it, it is pretty old brought it out from calif it was always out in the sun when working on things cause I didnt have a shop like I do now.

Will take a look at the Gorilla hose -20 should just about take care if it :-laf any colder than that and I WONT BE THE ONE USING IT

Thanks
