I just finished the air intake mode discribed in Issue 50 of TDR.
I got the 4 inch pvc pipe with a toilet bowl flange and 90 elbow.
I have found that it is a good idea but the problems I found with it is the schedule 40 PVC is pretty ridged and it is not a straight drop down and the flange of the toilet bowl flange hit the pipe running forward to the inter cooler.
I trimed back the flange to get as much clearance as I could but the air box will not go back to the seats of the pirches next to the battery but I do not think that will be much of a problem and I was still able to hook up the plumbing from the air box to the turbo inlet and install the nut on the hold down tab at the front the air box. It was under 50 degrees out side when I was assembeling the fittings and the elbow did not quite set so it is a littel lower than I had planed for it to be but you do not set if from the front unless you are down low.
