Seems like it should help out, I saw one of those a few months ago on Ebay and just thought it was a waste of time. A few things that I can think of: would it funnel water in a rain strom straight to the filter, seems like it could flow alot cooler air to the filter. I'm sure someone else will chime in and have a few words on this product. I am really interested if it actually does increase air flow, corey

You did notice that it does not fit the Dodge Ram w/CTD? I figure that is because the intercooler routes through that location on the CTD.
