air seats question

I have read many of the posts on this subject. Haven't seen Anything re my question.

Apparently, the NATIONAL seat base (alone) is not a 'plug-N-play' fit in my 2014 3500 Laramie.

So, has Anyone modified such a base and if So, what does in entail.

Do the mounting brackets match? Is the "plug and play" problem because of the electronics?

Please elaborate on what isn't plug and play.

Thought I replied earlier, but it must not have worked. Electronics should not be an issue. I am concerned about the mounting aspects.
