I have finished installing the Carli 2.0 suspension system on my truck including the torsion sway bar, full progressive leafs and Fox 2.0 shocks. Overall I am happy except the rear springs are much more sensitive to weight which is how they are designed. I see why they built the long travel air bags. I was searching for a leveling valve system for their air bags when I ran into the Auto Flex Air Ride Suspension company in Canada.

I was wondering if anyone has installed their product. The product removes the leaf springs completely and is a direct bolt on assembly complete with a leveling valve and air compressor. The system can be built with one air bag or 2.

I would call and talk to Carli about it. Not that what they made is bad but on ways to make you happy. Last time I talked to them they were more then helpful.Oo. But I think you need to be honest about what you want VS what you ordered.

To that system you mentioned, no experience with it but I don't care for the way it is built, a lot of wleds, cuts and pieces, also all of the weight is on that horizontal part that is attached to the factory spring attachment points. I went with r4tech system but they are no longer being built, I think Kindelman or Carli is the best out there now.

I think it looks great. And that it does not require cutting anything off the frame like, for example, the Kelderman systems do, makes this one much more appealing to me. If you get it, please report back.

Thank you MAshley for your reply. You are correct about me being honest about what I want.

I bought the truck about 4 years ago. I had no to complaints about the suspension. The following year my ball joints failed and I discovered the lower control arms were bent slightly. I contacted Carli about what I needed if I purchased their ball joints and control arms. They told me I would also need to purchase their track bar and springs in order to maintain proper steering geometry. I also asked them about their sway bar, they said it would make a big improvement in the ride quality. During this time I also installed the upgraded steering linkage, gear box, pump and a Dyna Trac free spin kit.

I was happy with the front end except now the back end felt to stiff to me. I figured this was due to the multi-rate coil springs in front. The following year I added the full progressive leafs and Fox 2.0 shocks. I am very happy when empty but not as much with weight.

I was planning on adding their air bags this summer, hopefully connected to an automatic leveling valve and air compressor. I figure at this point it would be best to stay with Carli so all of my suspension is engineered by the same company.

I did not realize an air bag rear suspension system had been built for a 1-ton truck until I made this first post.
