O. K. the truck is ordered 2012 3500 DRW 4x4. Now I am getting add ons gathered up. I have had timbrens on all my trucks, but then I wasn't driving a 3500 either. I pull a 5th wheel (14500-15500)so my question do I need to have something on hand to install to keep truck from squating to much when hooked to 5th wheel or will stock springs do the job? Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks,

Don

I belong to several Dodge sites. It seems that these new trucks have a softer suspension than previous years. My 10 squats easier than my 04 did (but rides a heck of a lot better than the 04). I had added air bags later on to my 04 truck. But with this truck after my first tow I added air bags with and onboard air control. But I would recommend that you add some weight then decide whether you need some sort of help...

My tongue weight is around 3500lbs. and i see no need for either Timbrens ( which i had on my 03) or air bags.

Stick

The air bags will keep your tail up, your headlights pointing on the road, and take all the bounce out when you hit uneven pavement, IMO, they are a real winner on these HD Trucks
