Air to Water intercooler on a diesel power unit?

The coolers I looked at were for Drag cars in the 1000-1500 horse range. So surely a 125 horse load with a constant supply of cold water would work. The core was about a foot square plus the ends with several layers of cooling fins ( like a radiator) inside. Look on ebay for "air to water intercooler" to see what I mean. They had about a 3/4" fitting for water in and out and either 3" or 3. 5" hose ends for air.

What kind of boost pressures and intake air temp increases over ambient is the motor making now? Will your groundwater cooling source ever freeze being in NE?

You'll also have to get new injection pump lines since they're routed around the aftercooler on the 4BTA's, 6BTA's

These are around if you look for a while. I bought an aftercooler and all new lines (for a VE pump) from a guy for $100 for my marine conversion project.
