I'm been talking to the Airbagit.com guys out in Mesa Arizona about some issues they need to work out on their air bag kit I have installed on my 09' 3500 dually. It's a good kit by they have some brake line clearance issues they need to work out. I told the Airbagit.com guys I would make a posting and see if anyone in the Mesa area was interested in beta testing. The truck would need to be an 06' - 10' dually. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I just resized some of the pictures I have and uploaded them. The brackets interfere with the brake lines and I've been working with Airbagit.com to resolve the issues but right now the kit really isn't a workable kit unless you fab up some new brake lines. I have a new drivers sides bracket to install that doesn't require grinding but the brake line mounting points are still an issue.

Will the brake line or bracket need to be modified on a 2003 2500 4x4? I"m looking to install the airlift bags in a week or so to help level out the truck with 5th wheel hooker up.

They have come out with a new bracket for my truck that will replace the one I had to mod. The issue they are still working on is how the factory mounting location of the brake lines near the caliper must be relocated.

I just faxed them some drawings of how they could redesign the kit to fix the brake line clearance issues. The brake lines also currently interfere with some of the hardware that bolts around the axle.

They are supposed to be making me some braided brake lines for my truck to rectify the short comings. But their plan is to fix the design to accommodate the brake lines. I know the 06-09 trucks are the same as mine as far as the brake lines go. I think the 03 brake lines may be different but I suspect you will also have the same clearance issue.

I think the Airbagit.com guys have a superior design that uses larger bags but they still need to work out some issues before the kit is ready for mass production. In the kits current form I had to shim one bracket (see pic) and am planning to replace all brake lines with braided units because I can no longer secure the OEM lines properly.
